A belated link to a panel I was part of for the UF STEM Translational Communication Research program last summer on career opportunities in science/technology/engineering/math communication for broad audiences.
I was also a “Member of the Month” in July 2015 as an affiliate researcher with the initiative.
So, I’ve got a professional blog now! That is, a blog about my professional work, not necessarily reflective of the money I make off of this (I don’t). I do have an Extension appointment as part of my work, however, and I hope that this will help me get some of the word out about my research. Plus I can now say I have a blog when I comment on others’ stuff, as I did here, on StatHunting.com.
I have some previous thoughts from my graduate school work on the blog for the Free-Choice Learning Lab at Oregon State University.
